This poster illustrates the concept of ruthless editing. At our workshop we often use the example of shooting a story about something ordinary, like gas prices. In the middle of the shoot a man walks by with a crate full of cute puppies and you get an adorable shot of the puppies in all their cuteness. Maybe you got an amazing shot of the puppies, but you can't use it in your gas prices story. We know, you love the puppies. But you've got to "kill them" (edit them out) in order to save the rest of your story.
This poster is not for sale individually. It is included as a bonus poster when you buy both the "Shooting Tips" and "Storytelling Tips" poster sets.
*ASB does not condone the actual killing of actual puppies.
